Abbaye Saint-Vincent

Chantelle Abbey once served the castle of the Dukes of Bourbon, which was razed to the ground by Richelieu in 1635. For over 60 years, the Benedictine nuns have created a range of cosmetics for sale in the store. Arc en ciel churches.

Free visit with document and information panel, of the Romano-Auvergnate church (MH) of the former canons' priory. Guided tour as part of the visits organized by the Tourist Office. The Chantelle Abbey served the Castle of the Bourbon Dukes which was razed by Richelieu in 1635. In 1853, the church and the religious buildings were taken over by a community of Benedictine sisters who live on the site, splitting their time between prayer and work. For more than 60 years, they have been creating a range of cosmetic products, sold in the store.
The abbey is on the GR 300 (Santiago de Compostela Road), pilgrims and hikers can benefit from a monastic welcome.
